Role Overview

The Threat Hunter is responsible for proactively identifying advanced threats and adversary activities that may bypass traditional detection mechanisms. This role focuses on hypothesis-driven investigations, behavioral analysis, and continuous improvement of detection strategies to strengthen the overall security posture of enterprise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat hunting across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and threat intelligence to identify hidden threats
• Investigate suspicious behaviors and emerging attack patterns
• Develop new detection logic and improve existing monitoring use cases
• Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams on advanced investigations
• Track adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and enhance defenses
• Prepare threat hunting reports and recommend mitigation strategies

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7+ years of experience in SOC, threat hunting, or incident response
• Strong expertise in SIEM, EDR/XDR, and network/security log analysis
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence practices
• Experience in threat analysis across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset with attention to detail
• Scripting and automation knowledge (Python, PowerShell, etc.) preferred
