Role Overview

The VAPT Engineer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and validating security vulnerabilities across applications, networks, systems, and cloud environments. This role focuses on performing structured vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements, delivering actionable remediation insights, and supporting organizations in strengthening their overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web, network, and cloud environments
• Identify security weaknesses and validate exploitation scenarios
• Perform application security testing including OWASP-based assessments
• Prepare detailed technical reports with risk ratings and remediation recommendations
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on mitigation strategies
• Support re-testing and validation of vulnerability fixes
• Stay updated with emerging vulnerabilities, exploits, and security trends

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5+ years of experience in VAPT, application security, or penetration testing
• Strong knowledge of web application, network, and API security testing
• Experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and common attack techniques
• Familiarity with cloud security testing (Azure/AWS/GCP) is an advantage
• Relevant certifications preferred (CEH, OSCP, eJPT, GWAPT or equivalent)
